He Heals the Broken-Hearted and Binds Up Their Wounds - Ps Shan

Psalm 34:18 :-
“The LORD is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
There are many kinds of broken hearts. Hearts are broken through disappointment. Hearts are broken when loved ones die. Hearts are broken in many ways. But Christ is good at healing all kinds of broken hearts. “Come to me, all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”.
Jesus knows our hidden sorrow and takes our grief away. We try our best to help others, but we cannot do it. The human heart needs more than human skill to heal it. There is only One Person who can heal our hearts and He does. He is doing this work now. Jesus is still healing the broken hearted. His power and patience never run out. He still heals. We are never too old to be saved. No one has ever come to Jesus with a broken heart that He did not heal. We go to the doctor sometimes and they tell us there is nothing they can do for us. Some sicknesses are incurable. But Jesus is able to save completely those who come to God through Him.
Hebrews7:25 – “Therefore he is able to save completely[a] those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them”.
What are we to do?
If Jesus is the great Healer of our broken hearts we should we do? First, we should come to Him. If someone is told they have an incurable disease, they are willing to go anywhere to find some treatment that might help them. If we have a broken heart, we need to come to Christ. He will heal us. It doesn’t matter how old we are. Everyone has broken hearts. If we go to Jesus, he will heal us. Come to him and find rest.
How do we go to Jesus? We go by prayer. We tell him our need. We ask Him to take away our sin and to forgive us. He knows our hearts. We also need to trust Him. We go to him with our broken hearts and believe that He can heal us. We believe that He alone can heal us and we trust him to do it. We do not loo anywhere else for Salvation. “Lord I believe, help me overcome my unbelief”. Trust Him to heal you.


The word for the week to mediate on is: Exodus 12: 12 & 13 & Exodus 9.

12"On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.
13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.
9 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, so that they may worship me.” 2 If you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back, 3 the hand of the LORD will bring a terrible plague on your livestock in the field’”

When you read the scriptures and meditate upon the word you will discover that the plagues (All 10 ) are correspond to the ten Gods of the Egyptians that the Egyptians worshiped.

The Ten Plagues are the disasters God sent the Egyptians when Pharaoh refused to let the Hebrews go free. The Plagues a demonstration of God's power over not only Pharaoh but also over the gods of Egypt.

But the plagues were released not to destroy the Egyptians or cause disasters. They were released to warn Pharaoh FOR ONE THING ONLY and that was to: “Let my people go, so that they may WORSHIP ME ” .I believe this phrase to let the people of Israel go to worship Him is mentioned 19 times -This is our first commandment. This must be sealed in us.

This I believe is the fundamental reasons for plagues in ancient times as well as in the current COVID- 19 virus causing havoc, commotions, turmoil and even fear in each one of us. We have allowed “other gods “ to take up our hearts and time. Time to look within and search for the one true God we call JESUS.. Seek Him first and all the things you desire will be added unto you. In His time, He will make all things beautiful for you.

I can assure you, leave everything you are doing right now and just worship the Lord for a couple of hours.. Do this at least once or twice a week with all the time God has given us to be at home. I have sent you a medley(2 hours ) to listen and just open your hearts to Jesus.
He assures us that we have Him in our lives, make Him feel precious, totally surrender. we have nothing to fear. His blood is the ONLY vaccine we need and already have. Only believe. The Virus has no power over the blood of Jesus.

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me and If my God is with me whom shall I fear.
Perfect love (found in God’s Love) casteth all fear. He died for you because He loves you so very dearly my precious ones in the Lord
