About Us

The Jesuran Inner Healing Ministry was established and founded in September 2012 by Pastor Hilda Samuel as an incorporated entity under the Association Incorporation Act 1981. Ps Hilda holds Diplomas in Librarianship and in Pastoral Care. She was called to ministry and has over 40 + years’ experience in healing ministry.

Our Story

“In this beautiful ministry, I minister under the anointing of the Highest God, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the partnership of the Holy Spirit. After years of trials and affliction, the loss of a business and resulting financial hardships, relationship breakdowns, barrenness in many matters, betrayals, rejection, and pain of mind in different levels, the lack of knowledge and awareness that there was a level of healing available from the Word continued to prolong my agony and struggles. I did later discover the one true, prayer answering God – we call Jesus. I learnt to commune with Him, journey with Him, develop a faith journey to lean on Him. But this alone did not give me all the answers or provide the solutions that I was seeking. Until I had to face a heart breaking, mind shattering divorce of my only beautiful loving daughter-a marriage I had arranged, I was on my knee’s day after day, night after night crying to the Lord. As I deeply repented for the many things on my part that contributed to this heart rending event, the Lord began to reveal
  • Blockages
  • Covenants like Masonic involvement
  • Dabbling with the occult – like astrology which is very common for people to consult in Sri Lanka.
  • Unresolved soul wounds – pain, hurts and sorrow
  • Unforgiveness
  • Unaddressed emotional baggage like fear, anger, guilt, rejection, grief, anguish in my inner child
  • Generational curses
  • Factors that age souls and cause an emptiness within and
  • Words that were spoken over me.
All these revelations become a reality and something beautiful emerged from these ashes. I discovered
  • The secret of a spiritual key–true repentance which cancelled any legal-hold the enemy could and would have in the present time, generationally and from the words that were spoken.
  • The spiritual reasons that made deliverance prolonged and difficult to experience inner healing and trauma healing
  • Sin, Trauma, Words, Transgression and Iniquity that produces soul wounds have to be dealt with through repentance, forgiveness and prayer.
  • Expressions of anxiety, depression, addiction, and chronic relationship problems usually have roots in a history of being rejected, abused, growing up in a dysfunctional family or stemming from the memories that are in the unconscious and subconscious mind.

Our Journey

Dive Deeper into Growth

2012
An Inner Healing team was established. They met each week at the Uniting Church in Endeavour Hills, Victoria. This experience together with further revelations through working with traumatised, wounded and hurting people here in Melbourne, Australia and in the north of Sri Lanka has now resulted in this ministry to serve those who are seeking wholeness.
2015
A Jesuran Wellness Centre was founded in Herbert street, Dandenong, Victoria. A sanctuary for Sri Lankan Refugees - which conducted its events for 5 days and on Saturdays, the Jesuran Healing Team and Ps Hilda met to minister Inner Healing clients and trauma healing to the refugees.
2015
Through the Jesuran Healing Centre in Jaffna, 450 war-traumatised children and some staff were ministered to at the Jesuran Healing Centre at St. Johns College, Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Dr Peter Selvaratnam was the facilitator, travelling 3 times a year for almost 4 years, meeting and ministering to the inner healing needs and conducting workshops to train the teachers to minister when he was away.
2015-2017
Inner Healing ministry was carried out and 5 Pastors were equipped in Colombo, Nawalapitiye and Maskelia, Sri Lanka, with people attending the annual inner healing services. This work continued to be ministered by Ps Srilal Ranasinghe and Dr. Peter Selvaratnam.
2020
An “ashram" model with overnight facilities to stay and soak in Gods presence to clients who came for inner healing was first established in Hampton Park and after the covid with travel restrictions-a Healing Centre is now currently in place at Grace Avenue, Dandenong. Vic 3175.Meals and other facilities are made available .
2020-2023
Ps Hilda and the team have also ministered in the USA over the years to about 40 people, taking the nations to the throne room in Australia, UK, India and Sri Lanka. 10-12 Pastors from India, USA, Sri Lanka have had their feet washed and prayed for.
2020-2023
A strong intercessory arm has evolved with the ministry interceding with over 100+ intercessors right across the world once a year which is 24/7 for 21 days. The Ministry has 200+ intercessors internationally.
2023-current times
The Jesuran Healing Centre – Melbourne (JHC) ministers inner healing to about two clients weekly, while also welcoming many for prayer and a warm meal. Operating on an Ashram model, it provides a peaceful refuge where traumatised individuals stay briefly to receive healing and restoration. JHC also serves as the foundation that financially supports, inspires, and equips the JAK team and projects in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
Jesuran Aravanaikkum Karam (JAK) – the Inner Healing Centre in Jaffna – is staffed by pastors, trained facilitators, and intercessors. Following a Good Samaritan model, JAK offers compassionate care and practical support for complete healing. It also ministers monthly in remote villages, bringing inner healing and medical aid to 40–60 vulnerable Tamil people still bearing the scars of war.
Hill Country Jesuran Healing is led by Rev. Stanley Selvaraja and a team of pastors, under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Selvaratnam since its inception.

  • MULTIPLE DISORDER – RUTH Ruth was the fourth child in a family of six, yet from the beginning, she was treated very differently. While her siblings attended private schools, Ruth was sent to a public one. She wore second-hand clothes from her cousins, and leftover food became her daily meal. Her father never acknowledged her, and her mother’s harsh treatment left deep emotional scars.     Through Inner Healing, it was revealed that Ruth’s mother had conceived her from an affair. Her father’s rage during the pregnancy and her mother’s bitterness transferred deep rejection into Ruth’s being. The Holy Spirit tenderly uncovered and healed many of these wounded parts, restoring fragments of her soul. Ruth is still on her healing journey—gentle care and love are helping forgiveness grow within her. The ministry continues to walk closely with Ruth and her husband as they overcome anxiety, depression, and past suicidal thoughts.
    UNWANTED EXPECTATIONS – SONYA Sonya, now around eighty, has three married daughters and lives with one of them after losing her husband. Her daughter Beth, once married to a kind man named Ross, was widowed and later remarried Brian. Sadly, Brian’s attitude toward Sonya became a source of daily distress. Though Sonya was an excellent cook and a loving mother, she was not allowed to help in the kitchen or move freely in the home. Even the house key was withheld from her. What once was a family home beginning to feel like a prison.
    As independence slipped away, resentment and anger filled her heart. She prayed fervently, yet nothing seemed to change. Her soul was weary and burdened. When Sonya came for Inner Healing, she broke down completely before the Lord. The Holy Spirit revealed that unforgiveness had become a mountain blocking her peace. Through several healing sessions and deep soaking in God’s presence, her heart softened—she began to truly forgive.
    Shortly after, an unexpected door opened. A housing commission application that had once seemed impossible began to move forward. Sonya is now preparing to step into her own peaceful space—entering her autumn years free, independent, and filled with gratitude to Jesus who restored her joy and dignity.
    UNTREATED TRAUMA – JONATHAN Jonathan, an aeronautical engineer, came to Jesurun Healing Ministry two years ago. Married with two children, he carried deep trauma from a severe accident where he was trapped between two trucks. Though God had miraculously healed his body, hidden trauma remained locked within his soul. Recently, Jonathan confessed he had been battling thoughts of death—unexplainable, overwhelming despair that no medication could touch. The Holy Spirit revealed that while the initial inner healing had restored parts of his soul, unprocessed trauma was still trapped in the brain—particularly in the amygdala, RAS, and memory centres. These areas stored fear, confusion, shame, and identity loss, keeping him in a silent torment. The ministry was led to address these areas through targeted trauma-healing prayer, surrendering every neural memory to Jesus Christ. As healing flowed, peace began returning. The stronghold of trauma started to lift, and Jonathan’s identity in Christ was re-established. His journey continues, but now he walks with renewed hope and the assurance that Jesus is restoring him—spirit, soul, and body—into complete wholeness.
  • A 180 DEGREE TRANSFORMATION OF A MARRIAGE Garry and Samantha, married for 21 years with two children, faced marital struggles alongside personal challenges. On their anniversary, Garry served Samantha divorce papers, but she chose to trust God, seek inner healing, and care for him when he fell seriously ill. Through healing and forgiveness, Garry's transformation followed, and their marriage was restored. A year later, they celebrated their renewed relationship with a thanksgiving prayer meeting, grateful for the joy that emerged from their trials.
    TRAUMA IN TO HEALING Joan, a 28-year-old woman, grew up in a troubled home marked by neglect and abuse. Her father's departure deepened the strain with her siblings, leaving her traumatized. Later, Joan entered an abusive relationship with John, feeling trapped and hopeless until she confided in his mother, who helped her return to Australia. In a state of despair, Joan found healing at JHC, receiving trauma recovery and support to rebuild her life. Today, Joan works, contributes to her household, and serves as an intercessor at JHC, a testament to God's transformative power to restore even the most broken lives.
    PHYSICAL HEALING FOUND IN GOD'S LOVE Jacob, a devoted man with a loving family and successful business, faced a devastating liver cancer diagnosis as he neared retirement. Despite the best medical care, the cancer worsened. His daughter, who had drifted from her faith, reached out to Jesuran Healing Ministry, believing their prayers could save her father. After three months of prayer and intercession, Jacob's oncologist was shocked to find the cancer dormant, leading to less frequent check-ups. Jacob's daughter returned to Jesuran, praising the healing power of Jesus' blood. Jacob remains in remission, and his daughter is rediscovering her faith, a reminder of God's ability to restore and guide us even through adversity.
